JOB SUMMARY:

The position of Sr. Loan Agent is responsible for the processing of a mortgage loan from origination to funding.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build long-term relationship while rapidly responding to the needs of the client
  • Prescreen and analyze client’s financial overview to determine appropriate loan products
  • Actively follow up with clients to ensure all initial required supporting documents are received
  • Accurately generate loan data into software application while proactively working with Loan Processors to ensure all necessary file requirements are met
  • Build and manage pipeline by professionally developing sound follow-up methods with existing clients
  • Keeping Team Manager abreast of daily performance to ensure compliance measures are met
  • Individually monitor production performance and identify areas of opportunities with Team Manager and Loan Agent Trainer to ensure ongoing productivity dynamics
  • Make high volume of outbound calls with leads provided
  • Outbound phone calls to clients
  • Sell and produce loans
  • Meet production numbers and goals that change on a monthly basis
  • Update all clients files daily
  • Sign borrowers for mortgage loans

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5+ years of Mortgage Sales experience in a high volume call center
  • Experience with NON QM products preferred.
  • Must have experience in delivering excellent customer service, pleasant phone skills, and understanding the changing mortgage industry
  • Enthusiastic and dynamic personality with high motivation
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, high energy environment
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, Internet and average typing skill

  EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid NMLS license
  • NMLS SAFE ACT compliant
  • Continue to maintain MLO license status throughout tenure
